I understand that effective leadership starts with listening, building consensus, and turning ideas into practical solutions that improve everyday life for families, small businesses, and neighborhoods.
I have successfully coordinated complex initiatives by uniting diverse stakeholders around shared goals. Through strategic planning, clear communication, and collaboration, I’ve delivered results that make a real difference. As your County Legislator, I will bring that same people-centered, solutions-focused approach to ensure our county government is responsive, responsible, and working for everyone.
I believe county government works best when it is transparent, accountable, and grounded in the real needs of the community. That means protecting taxpayers, supporting safe neighborhoods, investing wisely in infrastructure, and making sure essential services are delivered efficiently and effectively.
Most importantly, I am committed to being accessible and present. Whether through community meetings, neighborhood conversations, or open lines of communication, I will always prioritize listening first and leading with integrity.

Nyatwa Bullock played a key role in advancing transformative criminal justice reforms — including the passage of Clean Slate legislation, meaningful bail reform, the HALT Solitary Confinement Act, and the creation of Community Not Cages sentencing reform. Their leadership helped move our justice system toward fairness, accountability, and second chances.
